Guinea Pigs

I was browsing through the Smile City (http://www.smilecity.co.nz) boards the other day and came across the cutest site :0) Most of us are familair with the SPCA and bird shelters in Auckland aren't unusual but I didn't realize that we had guinea pig refuge centres! This guinea pig centre in Auckland has heaps of guinea pigs, including mommies and their babies, that they raise until they can find homes for them. The pictures on the site are gorgeous :) I was hoping my friend Anna could score a free guinea pig this way to keep her bunny company but apparently they have an adoption policy of needing another guinea pig to keep it company as well instead of rabbit. I'll have to remember to tell the parents at church about it :)
