The Tate Britain

I did do a post on the Tate Britain already but it's lost further back now beneath all the photos. The building itself is really just that, a building to house what's inside it rather than photo worthy archicture. The paintings are gorgeous. It's free (which is a bonus), pleasantly near the Thames and a great way to kill a rainy afternoon. They also serve cream teas :) You get a plate with a scone, butter, strawberry jam, whipped cream and then a huge pot of tea. Very British and impossible to drink that much tea.
