Galway
Kinlay House is a really decent hostel to stay in if you're visiting the student capital of Galway. An important thing to find out (after lugging a 20kg suitcase up three storeys of steps) is that this is one of the rare hostels that does have a lift!! It's just a wee bit hidden. There's a door off the ground foyer into another room where the lift exits.
Galway was fairly city-ish really. Gabe (our Angel Gabriel, our tour leader, he of the burnt thumb and the many ballads) rounded everyone up and out to a pub for dinner. If you're over here and have the chance to eat twisty fries - do so! Thanks Alex (Saffa if I've got you're name wrong I'm sorry! I'm crap with names) for encouraging all the girls to change their order. Their fries but really long and in these curly loops and seasoned.
