Ardmair Beach
We stopped for lunch at Ullapool and a bunch of people sat down by the wharf eating fish and chips. F&C are stupidly expensive in the UK compared to here and they normally only have cod or herring; so I passed on those but did sit down by the wharf.
Far more interesting was Ardmair Beach. The entire beach is made up of these white flat stones that are gorgeous and you find yourself desperately wanting to take home and use as paperweights. We lined up along the beach and had a stone skipping competition. I tied with one of the boys for second :) And L. came first and became our clan chieftan; we became renamed as the McHotties.
