New Russian Blockbuster

The Russians finally seem to be challanging Hollywood on the international blockbuster market. They're new film Nightwatch is the first in a series of movies [a trilogy I presume] based on a bunch of novels. The project is supposed to be inspired by recent trilogies like Matrix and Blade although it sounds a bit like that British film (Underworld) that came out in the last few years with the vampire/werewolf battle in London.

According to the trailor the age-old battle between the forces of good and forces of evil (read vampires, demons etc...) has had an uneasy truce patrolled by the forces of the Nightwatch. But now that truce appears endangered.....Read hope of CGI and apocalyptic battles. They've just started filming the sequel recently.
