Weekend events

A late happy birthday to Pam for her fabulous 19th last week!! :) The party was awesome, damn your place was packed, and though there weren't many people there I knew two of Alex's mates kept me fascinated and amused so that was all good :P

And yay for the Auckland Central celebration :P Many thanks to Judith and Michael for the BBQ and selection of wines etc... It was good to see everyone for a little while before diving back here to keep plowing through theories of differentation of 'self' [white middle-class Imperial Britain] by 'other' [non-European slaves] in a racialized and demonized Gothic discourse.
