Leonardo da Vinci exhibitition

On November 18 the Auckland War Memorial Museum will open the Leonardo da Vinci exhibitition; we can proudly smirk as NZ is the first country in the world to display it outside of Europe. While Leonardo is well known for his paintings he was also known for his sketches and for inventions that were well ahead of their time. In recognition of Leonardo's creative genius fifty of his inventions have been made to scale with items that were available in the 15th century and without the help of modern machines or tools.
