Tower Bridge

A neo-gothic wonder. A masterly piece of civil engineering , the bridge was built in 1894 with steam pumps to raise its two halves. etc. etc..

Essentially, it's the cool one that's in all the pictures. It does indeed look nifty, and very clean, the paint looks fresh from the riverbank :P And in traditonal London love of the macabre in order to climb up to the bridge you have to pass by Dead Man's Hole (or some such name) which, apparently, is where they used to fish dead bodies out of the river.
